Collection: Roll Ons

Aromatherapy roll-ons are handy roller bottles that are filled with a blend of carrier oil and essential oils.  They allow you to roll essential oils onto your skin so that you can use them topically.  As pure essential oils are highly concentrated, they cannot be applied directly onto your skin so a carrier oil is essential.  At Natural Gypsy, we use pure, organic sunflower oil as our base oil because it is light easily absorbs into the skin. 

While technically you could apply a roll-on just about anywhere, the following specific areas are the best places to apply your roll-on for maximum benefits.

• The soles of your feet – with larger pores, your feet can more easily absorb and release the beneficial essential oils into your bloodstream.

• Behind your ears – where the skin is more permeable and absorbent.

• The temples – a pulse point, which means that your blood vessels are close to the skin’s surface.

• On the wrists – your radial artery runs along the inside of your wrist, making it easier for your body to absorb the essential oils into your bloodstream.
